Official Mechanics
Thunderthorn Ward
After taking a certain number of attacks, it will deploy a "Thunderthorn Ward": While the Ward is active, DMG will be reflected to nearby characters when it is attacked. The Ward can be broken by using Elemental Reactions to drain the Ward of Electro.
Thunderous Attrition
Affected by the Ley Line disturbance, every time the foe is attacked, its progress toward deploying a Thunderthorn Ward will increase by a greater amount, but that progress will also gradually decrease over time. In addition, the Elemental requirements for breaking the Thunderthorn Ward are greatly increased.
